Introduce your shop

I did not go for any professional courses. I learned all the things from my father, because from past my family members are designing jewelry. He was working in a small factory who was creating jewelry. I went with him for four years to work in that factory also. After working there I met someone who told me to do work for myself.

He showed me handmade shops online, specifically Etsy where you can show your work and sell your handmade items.

Now I am creating jewelry with my father & one more friend. I don't know much about online selling, so one of my friends is helping me.

When did you turn your craft into a business?

I turned my craft into a business after working in the small factory, there I was not making enough to survive. My friend helped me a lot to open an Etsy shop.

I started selling on Etsy in 2016. Still I am not up to mark, but it is growing slowly. I am happy because I am getting much love there.

How did you come up with a name for your store?

The name of my store is due to the material used - I am using Pure 925 Sterling Silver so I used RockSterling.

How did you start selling on Etsy?

My best friend motivated me to sell on Etsy, First two months I did not get sales, but after that I started to get some sales.

Do you talk to your customers? Do you run your website or blog, social media?

Yes, I love to talk with my customers. I am using instagram, twitter, facebook, and asking some questions in jewelry groups.

What’s your most favorite product?

My most favorite product is the Rainbow Moonstone Pendant and Ring.

What are your future goals?

My future goal is carrying on what I am doing now. I want to make best jewelry teams who can help a person like me so that they can get enough after doing all the hard work.

What’s your process from an idea to a finished product?

I am getting some ideas from my father, he tells me "if you create nature loving things then it will good". I draw all pictures on paper, then I start working on it.

Most of the time I fail in designing, but after doing it 3-4 times I succeed.

Where and when do you find yourself most creatively inspired?

I feel inspired when my precious customers says it is wonderfully created, because I am creating items after doing hard work.

I feel much more inspired when my father and friends support me.
